Person Found Dead Following Bronx High-Rise Fire

Police say a person found dead inside a burning high-rise building Monday in the Bronx may have been dead before the fire started.
Flames broke out just before 9:30 a.m. on the 14th floor of 69 West 225th Street in Marble Hill.
The fire was under control less than 20 minutes later.
Police say Donald Holliday, 53, was found in his bedroom with a cut to his neck. He was pronounced dead at the location.
The investigation is ongoing and, as of late Monday, no arrests have been made.
