A driver is under arrest for fatally striking a man with her car in Brooklyn and then leaving the scene.
Karisa McFaline, 21, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say 58-year-old Harry Lewner of Cedarhurst was crossing 4th Avenue near 79th Street in Bay Ridge around 9:15 last night when he was hit by the Connecticut resident’s car and then hit by another car.
Lewner was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the driver of the second car stayed on the scene, but McFaline took off.
She turned herself in at the 7th Precinct on Manhattan's Lower East Side about an hour and a half after the accident.
