New Yorkers looking to vent about a dreadful cab ride can now do so before even paying the fare.
A new website called taxihack.com wants to become an unofficial place for cab riders to "Tweet" or email comments about a particular driver.
The site even lets riders post and search for lost and found items.
The Taxi Hack application was developed in response to a city contest encouraging programmers to find innovative uses for data made public by city agencies.
The TLC Commissioner says any passenger with questions or complaints should call 311 or visit nyc.gov/taxi so action can be taken.
