Funeral services were held Monday for two elderly hit-and-run victims on Staten Island.
Family and friends gathered at Our Lady Queen of Peace in New Dorp.
Peter Sabados, 78, and his wife Lillian, 77, were on their way to church the night before Thanksgiving when police say they were hit and killed by a van that left the scene.
The man accused of hitting the couple, Allmir Lekperic, 26, is free on $50,000 bail.
He's charged with leaving the scene and driving with a suspended license.
His sister, Mircada Nikezi, is accused of lying to police officers.
