City Comptroller Bill Thompson offered little insight into rumors of a possible 2010 U.S. Senate run while lending a helping hand this Thanksgiving in Manhattan.

Thompson spent part of his holiday downtown volunteering with "God's Love We Deliver."

The local aid organization delivers meals to sick and elderly citizens in their community.

Thompson has been linked to a possible Senate run in 2010, after his narrow defeat in the mayoral election earlier this month.

While he's interested in new opportunities, Thompson says he hasn't made any definitive decisions.

"I'm looking at a number of options right now," Thompson said. "I think a number of people have reached out to me and asked me to consider different options and take a look at different things. And that's what I'm doing right now, I'm looking at different options and talking to people around New York City and around the state."

Thompson followed up his volunteer work in SoHo with a trip to a community center for seniors in Brooklyn.
