A Bronx man is facing multiple charges after police say he stabbed another man to death early Saturday morning on a subway train in Manhattan.
Gerardo Sanchez, 37, is charged with second degree murder and weapons possession.
Police say he stabbed 36-year-old Dwight Johnson of Brooklyn several times in the neck and face during an argument on a northbound D train at the 7th Avenue station.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sanchez was arrested at the station.
The station was closed after the incident but has since reopened, and New York City Transit said service in both directions was back to normal by Saturday afternoon.
