The NYPD has beefed up patrols in Central Park after a series of muggings -- three of which took place over the weekend.
Investigators say three people were mugged at gunpoint Sunday morning near East 102nd Street.
Police are searching for three suspects.
One man was arrested, but released after he wasn't picked in a line up. He was charged with gun possession because police say he was carrying a .38 caliber revolver.
On November 2nd, another man was attacked near East Drive and the Great Lawn.
A week before that, there was a mugging near 97th Street and West Drive.
Police do not believe those incidents are connected.
Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
