A Manhattan girl was laid to rest Friday after being killed in an accident caused by an allegedly drunk driver.

A funeral Mass was held in Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church in Chelsea for Leandra Rosado, 11, who was killed Sunday.

"She was very special to the family," said one family member.

"God needed her more than we did down here," said another. "That's why he took her. She's an angel."

Rosado's sixth-grade classmates from Greenwich Village Middle School filled some of the pews.

"She was full of laughter," said a friend. "And she was always smiling."

"She would never hurt anyone. She was always kind," said another.

"A good intelligent girl, she was smart," said a third. "She kept people happy and to see an 11-year-old die, it's not good."

Rosado will be laid to rest in a cemetery in Queens.

Carmen Huertas, 31, was driving her daughter and six friends, including Rosado, back to her home in the Bronx for a slumber party Sunday morning when she lost control of her car on the Henry Hudson Parkway at 96th Street.

Huertas is expected to be arraigned next week on vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving charges.

Huertas and the six surviving passengers suffered minor injuries.
