Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with an alleged bias attack in College Point, Queens last week that left a 49-year-old man in serious condition.

Investigators with the New York City Police Department say Daniel Rodriguez, 21, was arrested Tuesday evening in Virginia at a relative's home.

Surveillance video was released earlier in the day showing two men brutally beating Jack Price, punching and kicking him to the ground in what police are calling a possible hate crime.

Police say Rodriguez and Daniel Aleman, 26, shouted anti-gay slurs and attacked Price, seen below, while he was walking home from a neighborhood deli on Friday.

Despite his injuries, Price managed to make his way home to call 911.

Police say he is in serious but stable condition.

Relatives say he suffered two collapsed lungs, a lacerated spleen, broken ribs and a broken jaw.

"It's a despicable crime, individual was attacked specifically for his orientation, we will not tolerate that in this city. We aggressively investigate any hate crime," said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

Aleman was arrested Sunday and charged with assault and aggravated assault as a hate crime.

Charges for Rodriguez are pending.
