A Queens man was convicted Tuesday of three violent muggings, including one on a 101-year-old woman.

Jack Rhodes, 47, an Elmhurst resident, was convicted of multiple charges of first-degree burglary, first- and second-degree robbery and second-degree assault, in relation to three attacks that took place in Queens between December 2006 and March 2007.

He faces between 39 to 90 years in prison.

The jury determined that the attacks were hate crimes, saying two of Rhodes's three victims were chosen due to their advanced age.

Rose Morat, who was 101 years old at the time of the attack, was repeatedly punched by Rhodes in her building's entryway, robbed of $33 and suffered a fractured cheekbone and bruises on her face.

Later that same day, Rhodes attacked Solange Elizee, who was 85 years at the time, and robbed her of $32 and two rings. Elizee was treated for cuts and bruises to her face, arms and buttocks.

The third victim, Angela Khan, was 51 years old at the time that Rhodes punched, kicked and robbed her of cash and other personal items.

Morat, who is now 103, would not comment on the case.
