Police are looking for the driver who ran over a 12-year-old girl in Brooklyn Saturday night.
Investigators say the girl was crossing the street around 5 p.m. at Shepard and Liberty Avenues in Highland Park when she was struck by a white van that fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.
"This is a school zone and they're supposed to put up the cameras up here and make this place over here slow like it's suppose to be, but these people are not doing anything around the school zone," said one Highland Park resident.
