Police are investigating a shooting in the Bronx that left a 25-year-old woman dead Tuesday.
It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on East 146th Street in Mott Haven.
Police say they responded to a call of shots fired and found Aisha Santiago shot in the chest.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say a 25-year-old man was also shot in the leg. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital.
Witnesses say the victims got caught in a crossfire.
"I heard screaming. I heard shots and then I just ran into the dentist," said one witness.
"I seen the guy when he got shot. The guy was laying on the floor. He was gushing blood. I felt so bad. You know it's crazy you can't even stand or walk around cause you gotta watch for a gunshot or something," said another witness.
No arrests have been made.
