A lottery player who bought a Mega Millions ticket in the Bronx became a multimillionaire thanks to the Friday drawing.

One of two winning tickets in the $333 million drawing was sold at Fordham Grocery and Convenience store on Fordham Road, and the store will get a $10,000 prize.

The winner's identity will not be known until Monday, when the New York Lotto office opens. The pot will be split between the Bronx winner and another player who bought a ticket in California.

On Saturday, Fordham Grocery and Convenience employee Bhavesh Patel said he sold 2,000 tickets leading up to the drawing, and that the winning numbers came from a Quick Pick ticket.

"Wow. I'm so happy. I dream of this every time. I'm happy," said Michael Patel, another store employee.

Some at the store were seeing whether their ticket was the gateway to wealth.

"I would go to the Dominican Republic, go on vacation," said one ticketholder who was checking seven tickets.

"Oh my god, I would go to Miami and buy a house with a pool, jacuzzi and everything," said another.

Other residents were just glad someone from their neighborhood won.

"I'm really, really happy. It happened right here at my spot on my block where I play all the time," said a local. "It could have been me, so God bless them. I won $10, so I'm grateful."

Those who do not have the lucky ticket could still cash in on a smaller prize if some of their numbers match up.

The winning numbers are 1, 17, 31, 37, 54, and the Mega Ball number is 31.
