City beaches remain closed to swimmers Sunday, as former Tropical Storm Danny continues to bring large swells and dangerous rip currents to the city.

City Waters Off-Limits To Swimmers

The following city beaches are closed to swimmers.

Brooklyn: Coney Island Beach, Manhattan Beach, Jacob Riis Park
Queens: Rockaway Beach
Staten Island: South Beach, Midland Beach, Wolfe's Pond Beach

Parks Department officials said beachgoers in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island can stay on the sand but are not allowed to enter the water.

Orchard Beach in the Bronx is still open to swimmers, as it does not face the Atlantic Ocean.

As of Saturday evening, the tropical depression's winds neared 35 mph. It was blamed yesterday for the disappearance of a 12-year-old North Carolina boy who was body boarding.
