Queens Driver Kills Pedestrian In Ozone Park
A man is dead after being struck and killed by a car in Ozone Park early Sunday morning.
Police say a car hit three people crossing the street near the intersection of Sutter Avenue and 85th Street. Bryan Donald, 31, of Queens, was killed.
Police initially arrested the driver who struck them, 18-year-old Alfred Barcenilla of Queens, for drunk driving. However authorities say the arrest was voided after an investigation found that he was not actually driving under the influence.
Police say a sobriety test at the station showed that Barcenilla had no alcohol in his system.
No charges have been filed and police are still investigating.
