A Bronx teen is reportedly undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, a day after he stabbed his three younger siblings.
Police say Nelson Santos, 17, is being charged with assault for the attack on Clay Avenue in Claremont.
Investigators say the teen stabbed his six-year-old and 13-year-old brothers in the torso and also slashed his nine-year-old sister in the chest.
A neighbor says one of the children came running downstairs bleeding.
"My little stepbrother was playing with the 13-year-old outside, and all of the sudden the 17-year-old calls the brother upstairs," said neighbor Ashley Mendez. "And when the kid went up, he came down a few minutes later."
According to the Daily News, Santos told police he tried to hurt his siblings because he was "zombie-like" and was seeing demons.
