Police are looking for a sexual predator who has been targeting women in Hamilton Heights.
Police have released surveillance video from the latest attack, which happened around 2 a.m. yesterday morning. Investigators say the man followed a woman into an elevator on West 144th and Convent Avenue and sexually assaulted and robbed her.
Authorities say the same man attacked another woman on August 1st near West 148th Street and Broadway around 2:45 a.m. Police say he dragged the woman into an alley, where he assaulted her and robbed her at knifepoint.
The man is described as being in his 30s, about 5-feet-9-inches to 6-feet tall with a medium build.
He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers with red stripes on the sole.
