Police are asking for the public's help in locating a group of men they say robbed and beat a Pratt Institute architecture student into a coma last week in Brooklyn.

Investigators say Eduardo Sanchez, 22, was heading back to campus when five young men came up to him at the intersection of Lexington and Grand in Clinton Hill and started beating him.

The men then stole Sanchez's belongings.

"He's just incredibly sweet. He's really. Everyone loves him and he would never look for trouble or harm anyone. It was really sad it happened," said a friend of Sanchez.

Police have released a surveillance video of the men they believe were involved in the attack. The men were trying to use Sanchez's ATM card shortly after the beating.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
