Most people who drive the Cross Bronx Expressway know how tough a road it is, and now AAA agrees.
The Cross Bronx tops the list of the auto club's toughest stretches of road in New York.
Dangerous on and off ramps, severe around-the-clock congestion, poor road surface, lighting and interchanges are cited as the reasons.
Number two on the list is the Gowanus Expressway, because of its constant need of repair as well as its own congestion problems.
The Belt Parkway, Southern State Parkway and BQE rounded out the top five.
