Dozens of aspiring stars lined up this morning for a chance to appear alongside Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte.
An open-casting call for extras in the upcoming "Sex and the City" sequel was held in Chelsea today.
Fans and professional actors alike hoped their sense of style would catch the casting director's eye.
"I was a big fan of the show, every Sunday I watched it," said one potential extra. "And, of course, I saw the first movie so I thought this would be a great opportunity."
"Just to try something new, I actually never did this before, and I thought it was interesting," said another.
"We were actually really surprised because we got here at 7o'clock and we thought it'd be a lot more crowded than it actually is," said a third. "So when we realized we're Number 17, 18 and 19 in line, we were really excited."
The sequel is reported to start shooting soon.
