Three City Hospitals Get Top Honors
Three of the city's hospitals get top honors in the annual U.S. News and World Report survey released today on the country's best hospitals.
Twenty-one hospitals nationwide made the Honor Roll for earning high scores in at least six specialties, such as cancer and heart disease. Reputation, technology, and patient safety were also deciding factors.
New York-Presbyterian University Hospital came in sixth, NYU Langone Medical Center ranked 17th and Mount Sinai Medical Center came in at 19th.
Topping the Honor Roll since 1991 is Johns Hopkins Hospital.
