A Bronx man has been arrested after police say he struck and killed one man and plowed into several other cars yesterday.
Mark St. Pierre, 36, faces multiple charges, including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and vehicular assault.
Police say St. Pierre was driving out of a parking lot on East Gun Hill Road yesterday when he struck a parked car, which then hit a second parked car.
According to police, St. Pierre drove away and hit Miguel Colon, 37, at the intersection of Knapp Street and East Gun Hill Road. Colon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say St. Pierre fled the scene and went on to hit six other vehicles before he was caught and arrested.
The New York City Fire Department says 12 other people suffered injuries ranging from minor to serious.
