Buildings Commissioner Robert LiMandri announced today that two Department of Building supervisors are being disciplined for failing to properly train inspectors of the Deutsche Bank Building, the site of a deadly fire.

According to a Department of Investigation report, Thomas Connors and Christopher Santulli knew the inspectors were not properly trained but did nothing about it.

They will no longer have any supervisory role in the dismantling of the Lower Manhattan building.

A third supervisor, Thomas Iulo, retired rather than face disciplinary action.

Firemen Robert Beddia and Joseph Graffagnino were killed in the August 2007 fire.
