Contestants were preparing Friday for the world-renowned Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, which takes place Saturday at Coney Island.
The competitors weighed in on Friday for the Super Bowl of competitive eating.
All the speculation seemed to center around defending champ Joey Chestnut and former winner Takeru Kobayashi.
Chestnut won last year with a record 64 frankfurters.
"Biggest thing for me is to get into a rhythm, the first hot dog is the most important, if I can get into the rhythm right in the beginning, then I can carry the rhythm longer," said Chestnut. "Hopefully I forget all about feelings, ignore pain and full and just go push through everything."
The hot dog eating contest is scheduled to begin at noon Saturday.
