The Apollo Theater will celebrate Michael Jackson's life and music Tuesday.
Organizers say 600 fans at a time can go in and listen to the King of Pop's music and watch video tributes.
The Reverend Al Sharpton and the president of the theater will give eulogies.
The celebration is set to begin at 2 p.m.
Fans have been gathering at the famed theater since news of Jackson's death on Thursday, leaving flowers and paying their respects. The investigation continues into the cause of his death.
Michael Jackson first played the Apollo in 1967 as part of the Jackson 5, when the group won the theater's Amateur Night competition.
