Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fractured her right elbow yesterday afternoon when she fell on her way to the White House.
According to her chief of staff, Clinton was treated at George Washington Hospital and will undergo surgery in the coming week.
Clinton was expected to attend an event today marking World Refugee Day, but it was taken off her schedule.
Her chief of staff says Clinton looks forward to resuming her full schedule soon.
