Three More City Residents Die From H1N1

The Department of Health confirmed three more deaths linked to H1N1/swine flu Wednesday, bringing the total number of people who died from the illness to 12.
According to the DOH, one victim was aged 30-39, another was aged between 50 and 59, and the third was over 65 years old. No other details about the deaths have been reported.
Most of the serious cases and deaths have been in people with established risk factors for flu complications.
At the peak of the flu outbreak, there were more than 40 city schools closed.
There are currently 820 confirmed cases of H1N1 in New York City.
