Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani crashed the Democratic convention in Denver's Pepsi Center Tuesday, telling NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter, "The Democrats have made our point better than we can -- that Barack Obama is unprepared to be president."
In his brief interview with Carter, Giuliani joked that he's at the convention "to listen to my senator speak. ...Unlike Senator Clinton, I have no kind of ambiguity about my candidate. She said her candidate is unprepared to be president."
"I'm actually here as John McCain's surrogate to answer some of the responses for the Republicans from the Democratic party, and to make the point that the Democrats have made our point better than we can: that Barack Obama is unprepared to be president," Giuliani said. "I'm just repeating Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton...that's an extraordinary claim that they've made. That he's not prepared to be president of the United States. And I think that's something the American people have to take very seriously."
