NY1 Political Director Bob Hardt is filing his "Unconventional ItCH" updates from the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The former chairman for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has some tough words for the campaign of Barack Obama, saying: "You're nominated to be president. It's your campaign. At some point, quit talking about the Clintons and move on."

In a wide-ranging interview with NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter, Terry McAuliffe rips into the media coverage of the Clinton-Obama primary race:

"I have never in my life, Dominic, seen a candidate treated as negatively and poorly as Hillary Clinton was treated by the press. It was a disgrace. Never should the press ever tell a candidate to get out of the race....The press was a disgrace," says McAuliffe.

He also talks about the complicated logistics behind Wednesday's roll-call vote in which Clinton's name will be placed on the convention floor. McAuliffe says that at some point the vote will be called off, allowing Obama to be nominated without further opposition.

McAuliffe: "We're going to have a roll call. I'm not sure, Dominic, that we'll go through every state, but I do think this is critical that we have it...."

Carter: "She may go out halfway through the roll call and stop it?

McAuliffe: "We don't need to go through all the states. People will feel good about what's happened and then we move forward in a unified way."

McAuliffe also says that he thinks Clinton will run for president again, after eight years of an Obama presidency.
