A grand jury is reportedly expected to be impaneled in the coming weeks in the case of a woman who claims she was raped by a New York City Police officer while his partner stood by.

The New York Times reports a grand jury will look into allegations against Officers Kenneth Moreno and Franklin Mata.

The NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating claims by a woman who says officers escorted her back to her East Village apartment on December 7th while she was drunk.

The officers reportedly were sent on a radio run, but were seen on surveillance video returning to the building.

Both officers have been placed on desk duty.
