For the second year in a row, the Department of Environmental Protection is again offering on Valentine's Day tours of the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment plant.

Due to popular demand, they have added an additional tour, giving viewers three chances to get a unique look at where the city's water supply comes from starting with its collection upstate to its distribution and its treatment.

The plant located in Greenpoint also gives visitors a chance to enjoy views of the city sky line from the 120-foot high observation deck, atop the plant's digester eggs.

Last year, more than 200 people took advantage of the tours.

Tours will take place Thursday at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1 p.m.
