A Brooklyn hospital could soon be shutting down.

According to reports, the trustees of the Long Island College Hospital in Cobble Hill have discussed the possibility of closing the facility.

The 150-year-old hospital is part of the financially-strapped SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

A report released last week by State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli says the medical center is losing a million dollars per week.

DiNapoli says Downstate's purchase of Long Island College Hospital in 2011 contributed to its money problems.
