In 2011, former New York Lieutenant Governor, Richard Ravitch and former Federal Reserve Board Chair, Paul A. Volcker assembled the State Budget Crisis Task Force to examine threats to U.S. states' near and long term fiscal sustainability. They will be releasing the Task Force's findings on the specific threats confronting the state of New York.
