Alternate side parking has returned to some parts of Brooklyn after being suspended following Sandy.
Parking regulations are once again being enforced in community boards 15 and 18.
That includes the neighborhoods of Gerritsen Beach, Manhattan Beach, Canarsie and Marine Park.
The return of alternate side parking will allow crews to do street maintenance.
But some people who spoke with NY1 are not happy with the move.
"I think it's going to be really hard for a lot of people who are still trying to clean up and get their lives back together in this neighborhood. I mean, we were devastated here. So, it's really tough for a lot of people," said one Brooklyn resident.
"It just seems the city's looking for money by giving people tickets for the street-cleaning rules," said another Brooklyn resident.
Alternate side parking rules remain suspended indefinitely in Brooklyn Community Board 13, which includes Coney Island and Brighton Beach, and Queens Community Board 14, which includes the Rockaways.
