The city's Bike Share program may have hit the skids again after much of the equipment reportedly suffered damage during Sandy.
According to published reports, the city had been storing bikes, docking stations and other equipment at the Brooklyn Navy Yard which was flooded.
While city officials confirm damage to bike share equipment they say they are still assessing the situation and so far no announcement has been made regarding any changes to implementation of the program.
The city initially planned to begin rolling out the program last summer but that start was pushed back to March of next year because of software problems.
