There may be a fourth suspect in the failed bomb plot on the city's subways.

According to a revised indictment, federal authorities say alleged co-conspirator Adis Medunjanin tried to recruit another man to take part in the plot.

The fourth suspect, identified only as "John Doe," was supposed to travel to Pakistan in order to wage a violent jihad.

Medunjanin and Zarein Ahmedzay were accused of partnering with Najibullah Zazi, seen above, in the planned bombings.

A lawyer for Medunjanin said Thursday that he wants the government to reveal the identity of the man before the trial, which is set for March.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's office has so far declined to comment.

Zazi pleaded guilty to terror charges in 2010.
