Canadian Fugitive Indicted In Connection With Subway Terror Plot

A Canadian fugitive has been indicted on charges related to the foiled plot to blow up New York City subways.
Ferid Imam, 30, was named in the indictment unsealed today in Brooklyn federal court.
According to the indictment, Imam was part of the conspiracy to attack the subways in September 2008.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say Imam and another man went to Pakistan for terrorist training, but their current whereabouts are unknown.
Colorado airport driver Najibullah Zazi and another man pleaded guilty last year to terrorism charges in connection with the incident.
A third man is awaiting trial.
