Attorneys for the father of terror suspect Najibullah Zazi are asking for a delay in the court case.

They say they need more time to examine the evidence against Mohammed Wali Zazi.

The elder Zazi, 53, is accused of lying to authorities regarding the terror investigation, and was scheduled to appear in court on December 7th.

He has pleaded not guilty to making a false statement.

His son, meanwhile, is being held without bond in the city. He has pleaded not guilty to conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction.

Queens Iman Ahmad Wais Afzali has also been charged with tipping off the Zazi's and lying to officials about it. He, too, has pleaded not guilty.
