President Barack Obama is reportedly headed to the city to praise the FBI and New York Police Department for breaking up an alleged terror plot.

The New York Post says the president will visit FBI headquarters in lower Manhattan tomorrow to thank the agency and members of the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force involved in the arrest of Najibullah Zazi.

The 24-year-old Afghan immigrant, seen above, is being held without bond on charges of conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction.

Zazi was arrested in his hometown of Denver last month, following a trip to the city.

Prosecutors say Zazi was planning an attack on the city's mass transit system that would have been the biggest terror attack since the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Zazi has pleaded not guilty and has denied receiving al-Qaida training.
