The man at the center of an alleged terror bomb plot stretching from Denver to New York is due back in Brooklyn Federal Court on Tuesday.

Najibullah Zazi, 24, seen above, was transferred from Colorado to New York Friday.

Zazi was taken by federal agents to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and then flown to the city on an New York Police Department helicopter. He was then taken under heavy police guard to the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park.

Zazi is set to be arraigned Tuesday on charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.

Prosecutors claim Zazi, who was born in Afghanistan and formerly lived in Queens, was planning a terrorist attack to coincide with the anniversary of the collapse of the World Trade Center.

They say he received explosives training from al-Qaida in Pakistan, and after getting back to the United States spent the summer trying to create bombs like the ones used in the London and Madrid transit attacks.

Authorities say Zazi was caught on surveillance video at beauty supply shops in Colorado buying huge amounts of hydrogen peroxide and other items to make bombs.

Defense attorneys insist Zazi did nothing wrong, and say investigators have yet to tie him to any explosives or chemicals.

Zazi is currently being held without bail and faces life in prison if convicted.

His father, Mohammed, and Queens resident Imam Ahmad Wais Afzali are also charged with lying to federal investigators in connection with the case. They are both free on bail.
