It's official—Carmelo Anthony will continue his career with the New York Knicks.
The team offered Anthony a maximum contract worth $129 million over five years.
Before committing, he had meetings with the Bulls and the Lakers.
Today, though, Melo calls himself a New York Knick at Heart.
He says on his website: "This organization has supported me and in return, I want to stay and build here with this city and my team. At this pivotal juncture in my career, I owed it to myself and my family to explore all of the options available to me. Through it all, my heart never wavered."
The seven-time all star won a scoring title in 2013 and came in second place last year.
