Carmelo Anthony is reportedly staying in New York.
The Daily News reports the free agent forward is expected to announce Thursday that he will re-sign with the Knicks.
Players can begin signing free agent contracts Thursday.
The Knicks offered the Brooklyn native a max contract worth $129 million over five years.
No other team could offer him as much, but he had meetings with the Bulls and Lakers in the past week.
The seven-time All-Star came to the Knicks from Denver in 2011.
Anthony won a scoring title in 2013 and came in second place last year.
