Nets general manager Billy King spoke out for the first time since Jason Kidd left the team.
Kidd is leaving the Nets after just one year head coach. It comes following an unsuccessful attempt to gain more power in the organization.
King says the search for a replacement is already underway and is looking for someone with coaching experience.
"It's not something you want to have happen. We talked about having continuity and consistency, but the goal is, when we do this, is to find someone that's going to be here for a long time and move forward," King said.
The Nets received two second round draft picks from the Bucks as compensation for Kidd.
