The Nets will head back to Brooklyn with their first-round series tied at one game apiece after a 100-95 loss to the Raptors in Toronto Tuesday night.
Toronto's DeMar DeRozan gave the Raptors the lead for good with a jump shot with 2:45 left in the fourth quarter.
Paul Pierce had a chance to put the Nets back on top, but missed a three-pointer with less than 30 seconds to play.
Pierce, who came up big in game 1, made just 2 of 11 shots from the field and missed all six of his three-point attempts.
The series now comes to Brooklyn for Game 3 on Friday.
