The Yankees' season got off to a bad start Tuesday in Houston.

Derek Jeter was hit by a pitch in the arm in his first at-bat of the season after missing most of last year with injuries.

He stayed in the game and finished 1 for 3.

CC Sabathia had a bad start for the Bombers, giving up four runs in the first inning and two more in the second.

That would be all the Astros needed, as they went on to beat the Yanks 6-2.

The teams meet again Wednesday.

The Mets and Nationals also resume their series Wednesday at Citi Field. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
