Running the city may not be all fun and games, but Mayor Bill de Blasio will still get to partake in some when he throws out the ceremonial first pitch for the Mets on Opening Day at Citi Field.

Joining the mayor will be six children from the East Harlem Tutorial Program who were affected by the recent explosion and building collapse in that community.

The noted Red Sox fan will take the mound before the Mets' opener against the Washington Nationals.

The game is set for 1:10 p.m. Monday.

The baseball festivities won't end when the game does, as the Empire State Building will go blue and orange for the night in honor of the Amazin's.
