Two of Britain's top soccer teams are coming to Yankee Stadium this summer.
Relevent Sports announced Thursday that Manchester City will take on Liverpool at the stadium on July 30 as part of the International Champions Cup.
It's the second year in a row for Manchester City, who beat Chelsea last year in the Bronx.
Representatives from both teams were quick to sing the stadium's praises.
"We're really looking very much forward to the tournament," said Mike Summerbee of Manchester City Football Club. "We'll be coming with our strongest side, and we'll look forward to it as well because it's a great stadium to play into."
"I mean, how good is it, to be honest, to see one of the world's most iconic clubs playing in one of the world's most iconic stadiums?" said Robbie Fowler of Liverpool Football Club. "I think it's fantastic."
Presale ticketing begins March 11.
