Carmelo Anthony's 62 points set several records as he dominated the Bobcats Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

Anthony topped Bernard King's franchise record of 60 points.

He also broke Kobe Bryant's Garden record of 61 set five years ago.

Besides the Garden records, the 62 points also puts Anthony at the top of the list for most points scored by any player in a single game this season.

In the postgame wrap-up, head coach Mike Woodson said that the rest of the team filled in behind Anthony as he lead them to a victory.

"Since I've coached him, he's been unbelievable. That's all I can say for this organization," Woodson said. "I think tonight was one of those special nights for him. He got it going, and then, everything he threw out was going in."

The Knicks went on to win the game 125-96 over the Charlotte Bobcats.
