Knicks point guard Jason Kidd is calling it quits after nearly two decades as one of the NBA top playmakers.
The 40-year-old has decided to retire, after playing his final season in New York.
Over 19 seasons, Kidd was selected to 10 all star teams.
He played seven seasons with the Nets and led them to the finals twice.
In 2011 with Dallas, he won his first and only NBA championship.
He also won two gold medals and is currently second on the all-time list in steals and assists.
