Knicks' Season Ends With Game 6 Defeat Against Indianapolis

The New York Knicks' season is over after their comeback fell short Saturday night in Indianapolis.

New York fell 106-99 to the Pacers in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup, bowing out of the series four games to two.

After a win in Game 5 Thursday at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks were attempting to become just the ninth team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a seven-game series.

Carmelo Anthony topped all scorers with 39 points and Iman Shumpert added five 3-pointers for New York, but Lance Stephenson led a trio of 20-point shooters for Indianapolis.

The Knicks got the the conference semifinals by defeating the Boston Celtics four games to two for their first playoff series win since 2000.
